In October 2024, the Autostrada group of companies began construction of the metro on Vynohradar.
From the point of view of organizing and managing the construction of this project, the decision is not simple, because the company has faced quite serious challenges that it is successfully solving. This is essentially a complete revival of the metro construction industry. Training and retraining of employees, purchasing modern machinery and specialized equipment, mastering construction technologies that have not been used in Ukraine before.
During this short time, work has been resumed at 4 sites, a tunneling shield, a set of equipment for performing the wall-in-the-ground technology, installations for performing work using the Jet-piles method have been purchased, and its own production of reinforced concrete products has been launched. The total investment amounted to about $ 35 million.
