Roads, the metro, controversy, and earnings. An interview with Maksym Shkil on LIGA.net

A new water pipeline in Mykolaiv will soon be operational — an event the city has been waiting for for more than three years after losing centralized water supply. As a reminder, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces damaged the main water pipeline that delivered drinking water to the city.

The construction of the new pipeline is being carried out by the Ukrainian infrastructure group Autostrada — a company that, before 2022, was among the four largest contractors of the Big Construction state program and now implements a number of large-scale projects, including the construction of the metro extension to Vynohradar in Kyiv.

Journalists from Liga.net spoke with the founder of the company, Maksym Shkil, about the details of the Mykolaiv project, the prospects of infrastructure construction, the situation with state orders and funding, as well as the progress of metro construction in Kyiv. Read more at the link.
